Day 3 Theme: TREASURES OF HEAVEN – CULTIVATING A LONGING FOR HOPE
Our tour of Palermo takes us to the nearby town of beautiful Monreale with 12th century Cathedral, lovely squares of Quattro Canti, Piazza Bellini and Piazza Pretoria, Palermo famous markets and Palermo Cathedral where we will have Mass. Depart to Taormina in Sicily. Transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 4 Theme: THE FIRE WITHIN – FANNING THE FLAME OF HOPE
Morning Mass at Madonna Della Rocca. Today we explore Taormina, founded 400 BC and beautifully located overlooking the sea. We see the Greek theatre and the sub-tropical terraced gardens before strolling along the elegant Corso Umberto to the Piazza for splendid views across the bay to the Ionian Sea. Afternoon we visit observation point for Mt. Etna. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Theme: POVERTY – NURTURING OUR HEARTS FOR HOPE
After breakfast depart by bus to Messina pier to embark on the ferry to Villa S. Giovanni. Upon arrival, we will drive by bus to Paola. Visit Basilica de San Francisco de Paola, Mass. Photo stop at Piazza del Popolo and Chiesa del Santissima Rosario, before we continue to our hotel at Marina di Fuscaldo for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 Theme: CREATION – NATURAL EXPRESSIONS OF HOPE
Morning depart by bus to Sorrento. Enjoy full day excursion to Amalfi Coast, one of Italy's most memorable destinations. Here, mountains plunge into the sea in a nail-biting vertical scene of precipitous crags. Late afternoon, depart by bus to Castellammare Di Stabia and transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 Theme: DISCIPLESHIP – CULTIVATING SEEDS OF HOPE
Full day excursion to the enchanting Island of Capri. We enjoy a walking tour in Capri Town, where we see across the sea the Faraglioni rocks and Marina Piccola, then have some free time to further explore the Island. Later cruise back to Sorrento, visit the Cathedral. After Mass, Return to our Hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart by bus to Pompei. Visit the Shrine of Virgin of the Rosary of Pompeii followed by Pompei Excavation. In the afternoon depart to Naples for Orientation tour including photo stop at the Complesso Monumental di Santa Maria la Nova. Visit the Duomo of Naples & St. Severo Chapel. On to Rome for dinner & overnight

Day 10 Theme: RESTORATION – THE GOAL OF CHRISTIAN HOPE
Full day excursion to Assisi, the city of St. Francis, built of pink stone and prettily spread out on the slopes of Monte Subasio. Visit the Basilica of St. Francis and St. Claire Convent. Return to our hotel in Rome for dinner and overnight.
