Rome
Morning arrival in Rome. Meet our guide and visit the Basilicas of Santa Maria Maggiore and St John Lateran, walking through the Holy Doors as Holy Year tradition. Continue to hotel for dinner and overnight.
May 21
Rome - Civitavecchia
This morning, we visit the Vatican Museum including Sistine Chapel, St. Peter Basilica, and the tomb of John Paul II. In the afternoon, transfer to Civitavecchia to board ship. Dinner and overnight.
May 22
Cruising
Full day at sea to relax and start our great holiday. There will be Mass every day.
May 23
Corfu
Today our ship arrives on the island of Corfu, Greece.  Morning tour of the island, taking us to Mount Pantokrator, which is over 1000 meters high, offering breathtaking views across to the Island of Paxos. Some free time before returning to ship at your own time. Mass, dinner and overnight.

Cruising
Full day at the sea. Time for rest, leisure

Santorini
This morning our ship arrives to the enchanting island of Santorini. Some free time to explore the island then return to ship. Mass, dinner and overnight.

Kusadasi
Morning arrival in Kusadasi, Turkey, and visit Ephesus, where St. Paul lived for some years. We enter through Magnesian Gate and discover numerous monuments such as the Forum, the Odeon, the Library of Celsus, the thermal baths of Scolastica and the Great Theater of Antiquity. We also visit the house of Mary, where we will celebrate Mass, according to St. John’s tradition she was brought after the death of Christ. Return to our ship for dinner and overnight.

Athens
Today our ship arrives in port of Piraeus in the suburbs of Athens. Full day excursion of Athens taking us to the Acropolis, the Olympic stadium, the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch and other memorials. In the afternoon free time for shopping, return to our ship for dinner and overnight.

Cruising
After two very busy and long days, a relaxing day at sea

Island of Sicily
This morning our ship docs in Messina Sicily. Our excursion takes us to Taormina, founded 400 BC and beautifully located overlooking the sea. We see the Greek theatre and the sub-tropical terraced gardens before strolling along the elegant Corso Umberto to the Piazza for splendid views across the bay to the Ionian Sea. Some free time for shopping. Late afternoon, return to our cruise ship.

Naples
This morning our ship docks in Naples. Full day excursion of Naples and beautiful Sorrento. Late afternoon return to ship for dinner and overnight.
May 31
Rome
Today our cruise comes to an end. After disembarkation, we transfer to Assisi, the city of St. Francis, built of pink stone and prettily spread out on the slopes of Monte Subasio. Visit the Basilica of St Francis and Portiuncola Chapel in St Mary of the Angels Church. Then visit the tomb of Blessed Carlos Acutis inside Santa Maria Maggiore Church. On to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

If cancellation is necessary, please advise IHT immediately in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:

  • after March 21/2025 - 100% of the total cost
