Day 2 ~ Saturday
Arrive in Tel Aviv at 10:00am where our tour guide will meet you. We start by traveling to Jaffa, which affords us a breathtaking view of the city of Tel Aviv. King Solomon had the cedars of Lebanon rafted for the building of the First Temple in Jerusalem. You will view the spot of the House of Simon the Tanner (Acts 10:6). After this tour we go to our hotel for check-in and the balance of the day is at leisure to enjoy Tel Aviv. Dinner and overnight at the Metropolitan Hotel, Tel Aviv

CAESAREA / MT.CARMEL / AKKO
Day 3 ~ Sunday
We drive north along the Plain of Sharon, the Mediterranean and the old coastal road- the Via Maris that linked Egypt and Babylon as we journey towards Galilee. We stop at Caesarea the incredible fortress city built by King Herod the Great. Here, Pontius Pilate had his base; where Cornelius lived and was baptized where Paul embarked to Tarsus and where Philip preached (Acts 8:40). Visit the Roman Theatre, the Hippodrome, and the Crusader City. We then travel north towards Haifa and ascend Mt. Carmel the site where the prophet Elijah fought the 400 false prophets of Baal We will stop for an incredible panoramic view of Haifa. Continue north to The Old City of Akko a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Acre is a historic walled port-city with continuous settlement from the Phoenician period. The present city is characteristic of a fortified town dating from the Ottoman 18th and 19th centuries, with typical urban components such as the citadel, mosques, khans and baths. The remains of the Crusader town, dating from 1104 to 1291, lie almost intact, both above and below today's street level, providing an exceptional picture of the layout and structures of the capital of the medieval Crusader kingdom of Jerusalem. JESUS MINISTRY IN THE GALILEE
Day 4 ~ Monday
After breakfast, we will depart our day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee to Kibbutz Ginossar where we will see a ancient boat from the time of Jesus displayed at the Kibbutz Museum. Continue to Capernaum, the centre of Jesus’ Galilean ministry and the site of many of his miracles. We will see the remains of Peter’s house and the synagogue site where Jesus taught and worshipped. Visit the Primacy of Peter Church where Jesus dined with the Apostles and later reinstated the primacy of Peter. Carved stairs, a rock facing the lake adjacent to the church, are said to be where Jesus stood when the disciples returned from the Sea. Continue to the Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered what is perhaps the most famous sermon ever preached – “The Sermon On The Mount” (Matt.5). Visit to Magdala the newly excavated site to see the 1st century synagogue where Jesus taught. Drive to Korazim one of the three towns Jesus cursed because of their unbelief in Him as the Messiah.and performed many miracles and taught here frequently. It has one of the most preserved synagogues in Israel. Finish the day at the Baptismal site Yardenit. Dinner and overnight at Lake House Hotel, Tiberias

Day 5 ~ Tuesday
We start the day at Hazor. the largest biblical-era site in Israel, an area of some 200 acres. Drive north to Tel Dan National Park to see the ruins from Abraham’s time and the Dan Spring which is a source of the Jordan River. Continue to Banias, one of the sources of the Jordan River and the site of ancient “Caesarea Philipi”, where Peter made the confession of faith in Christ. Drive up the Golan Heights to Nimrod Fortress the biggest Crusade-era castle in all of Israel, a mountain-top stronghold spanning back to the 13th century. Continue to Gamla, the site of a thriving Jewish village during the late Second Temple period, Gamla dared to defy the Romans during the Great Jewish Revolt (66–70 CE) and as a result was besieged by Vespasian’s legions. Drive back to Tiberias stopping at Kursi which has been identified by tradition as the site of the "Miracle of the Swine", where Jesus healed one or two men possessed by demons by driving these into a herd of pigs. Dinner and overnight at Lake House Hotel.

Drive to Sepphoris (Zippori) the traditional site of the birthplace of Mary and home to Joachim and Anna. It was once the capital of Galilee. This excavated site as some of the most significant mosaics in the country, including the “Mona Lisa of Israel”. Drive to Nazareth and Nazareth Village that reconstructs and reenacts village life in the Galilee in the time of Jesus. Visit Mount Precipice, the traditional site of the cliff that an angry mob attempted to throw Jesus off of after his bold proclamation in the Nazareth synagogue. Drive to Mt. Tabor and take special taxis to the summit to visit the site of the Transfiguration. believed to be the place of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ, where Jesus began to radiate light and conversed with Moses and Elijah. Drive to Megiddo, one of King Solomon’s walled fortified cities with ruins of 20 levels of civilization. From here the Books of Daniel and Revelation will come alive as we read about the final Battle of Armageddon. Dinner and overnight at Lake House Hotel, Tiberias

Continue to Beit Shean, the largest archeological excavation in Israel Visit this Roman city once one of the cities of the Decapolis. Drive to the Jordanian border and cross the Jordan River. Meet your Jordanian guide and driver and transfer to Jerash, the Graeco-Roman city. Walk beneath four imposing gates or down the "Street of Columns" north from the “Oval Plaza” while stepping over the tracks of chariot wheels still visible in the paving stones. Then drive to the town of Madaba and discover the amazing Byzantine mosaics excavated from throughout the town. See the ‘Madaba Map’, the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Land. Drive to Petra. Dinner and overnight at the Petra Guest House.

After breakfast, visit Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This 10,000-year-old city is hidden in the desert and was once a Nabataean caravan-city. Petra is a unique city, half-built and half-carved into the rock, and is surrounded by mountains that are riddled with passages and gorges. It is also one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, where ancient Eastern traditions blend with Hellenistic architecture. Dinner and overnight at the Petra Guest House.

It is famous of its crusader fortress in the center of underground galleries, rooms and secret passageways and its thick defensive walls pierced by narrow arrow slits where crusader archers held out bravely but in vain for over 100 years. Continue to Mount Nebo, the memorial of Moses, the presumed site of the prophet's death and burial place. A small, square church was built on the spot by early Byzantine Christians and later expanded into a vast complex. Then drive to Dead Sea to our hotel check-in and have the balance of the day to float in the Dead Sea for an amazing experience. Dinner and overnight at the Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea

You will visit the palaces, bathhouses, swimming pool, and the oldest synagogue in the world on this mount. Continue to Ein Gedi one of David's main hideouts when Saul was pursuing his life. View the waterfalls in the desert. Drive to Qumran, where a shepherd boy discovered the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947 in a cave. These scrolls are the oldest scriptures of the Bible ever found. Continue to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight at the Prima Kings Hotel, Jerusalem

We will drive to the top of the Mount of Olives, for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Tracing the footsteps of Jesus, we will stroll down the Palm Sunday Route on the Mount of Olives to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. From here, we proceed by bus across the Kidron Valley, past the Tombs of Absalom, Zechariah and James and proceed to Mt Zion to visit the traditional site of the Upper Room (Room of the Last Supper), and the Church of St. Peter’s in Gallicantu, built on top of the High Priest Caiphas’ house. We walk to the Zion Gate and enter the Old City of Jerusalem to the Jewish Quarter to the visit the Western Wall, Judaism’s holiest spot and the Western Wall Tunnels to reach the segments of the Wall hidden from view. Walk through ancient and fascinating subterranean spaces with exquisite archeological findings, such as large stone arches, water pits, an ancient water aqueduct that ends at the Via Dolorosa to visit the Pools of Bethesda, St. Anne’s Church, Chapel of the Flagellation and Pilate’s Judgment Hall to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre for a brief visit. Continue to the Davidson Centre and visit the archaeological park of the excavations along the Western and Southern walls of the Temple Mount of Jerusalem. Drive to Yad Vashem, Israel’s memorial to the Holocaust commemorating the six million Jews who perished. Continue to the Israel Museum and visit the Shrine of the Book housing the Dead Sea Scrolls, the oldest manuscripts of the Bible ever found. Visit the model of Jerusalem from the Second Temple Period as it looked from the time of Jesus. Dinner and overnight at the Prima Kings Hotel, Jerusalem

Drive to Genesis Land situated in the heart of the Judean desert in the land where the Patriarchs lived. A magical place, it enables visitors to experience life as it was in biblical times. You will be greeted by Eliezer, Abraham's manservant, and by a train of camels which lead you down to Abraham's tent, where you will experience his legendary hospitality sitting on carpets in a large tent. Return to Jerusalem and drive a short distance to Bethlehem and visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds Field. Continue to Herodium home to an impressive palace dating to the time of King Herod. the site was also the burial location of Herod, hence the tumulus shape of the hill. Finish the day with a visit to the Garden Tomb or Gordon’s Calvary with a group communion in one of the gardens. Dinner and overnight at the Prima Kings Hotel, Jerusalem

The travel agent and/or tour operator acts only as agent for the various companies; owners or contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodation and other services pertaining to the trip. All exchange orders, coupons and tickets are subject to the terms and conditions under which such means of transportation; accommodation and other services are offered or provided. The issuance and acceptance of such tickets shall be deemed as consent to the future conditions. International Heritage Tours shall not be in any way liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or any irregularity in any vehicle or through the act of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers or any hotel proprietor, personnel or servant of any other person, resulting loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in connection herewith. International Heritage Tours cannot accept the responsibility for changes in transportation schedule or other causes. The right is reserved to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour, or to change or withdraw the tour as circumstances demand. Each exchange coupon, order or ticket is to be regarded as one contracted by or on behalf of the particular company or person named on it.
FORCE MAJEURE:
In no event shall the Agency be liable for any failure to perform its obligations or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay is due to events beyond its control which prevents the performance of its obligations, including without limitation, nuclear or environmental catastrophes; natural disasters and extreme weather conditions; war, invasion, or similar hostilities; rebellion, revolution, insurrection; riots or civil unrest; strikes, lockouts and labour action; acts or threats of terrorism; epidemic, pandemic, or spread of disease; Acts of State or governmental restrictions; and loss or prolonged interruption of necessary utilities, communications or computer services. The customer acknowledges that the Agency, on behalf of the customer and anyone for whom the customer requests the Agency make travel arrangements, will forward funds to independent third party travel suppliers, and that once forwarded, these funds may not be recovered and/or refunded. Where a force majeure event has occurred, performance of the Agency’s obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event, and the Agency shall perform its obligations when it is possible to do so. In any event, the liability of the Agency arising out of force majeure event shall not exceed amounts paid directly by the customer or anyone for whom customer requests the Agency make travel arrangements, to the Agency, and the Agency shall not be liable for any consequential or indirect damages or legal costs incurred by any party. In such Force Majeure cases a cash refund might not be offered, however the Agency may opt to offer the customer a future travel credit for the value of the tour.
