Day 1 – Sep. 12
Afternoon departure from Toronto to London, England
Day 2 – Sep. 13
Morning arrival in London. Our panoramic tour of London will include Trafalgar Square, Parliament, Kensington Palace,Tower of London and London Bridge. We visit the Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral and state rooms of Buckingham Palace, Transfer to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Sep. 14
Today we travel to York. En route we stop in Stratford on Avon where we visit Shakespeare’s birthplace and Anne Hathaway’s cottage. Continue to city of York for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Sep. 15
After breakfast we admire the magnificent Gothic York Minster. Later we travel to Edinburgh in Scotland. En route we stop in Hexham to see Housesteads Roman fort, the most complete Roman fort in Britain. Dinner and overnight in Edinburgh.
Day 5 – Sep. 16
Our sightseeing tour of Edinburgh takes us from the elegant squares of the New Town to Edinburgh castle perched high on its rocky crag, displaying Scotland’s glittering Crown jewels. Continue down the Royal Mile to St. Giles Cathedral. Afternoon some free time for leisure, dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – Sep. 17
Today we are on the way to Cairnryan and board a ferry to Belfast in Northern Ireland. Continue to Dublin, capital of the Republic of Ireland for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 – Sep. 18
Our sightseeing tour of Dublin takes us to O’Connell Street, Phoenix Park, St Patrick Cathedral, Trinity College and Famine Sculptures. In the afternoon some free time for shopping, dinner and overnight.
Day 8 – Sep. 19
After breakfast we travel to Killarney. En route we stop in Knock, the most important shrine for the Irish Catholics – “Our Lady of Knock”. Continue to Killarney for dinner and overnight.
Day 9 – Sep. 20
Today we take a full day excursion around the Ring of Kerry. This spectacular route will take us to the world of towering cliffs, rugged islands, white-sand beaches, dramatic mountain passes and remote villages. Return to Killarney for dinner and overnight.
Day 10 – Sep. 21
After breakfast we leave for Blarney where we visit the castle and woolen mills shop. Continue to Waterford, the oldest city in Ireland. We visit the famed glass manufacture of Waterford Crystal before arriving in our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 11 – Sep. 22
This morning we depart for Cardiff. Upon arrival in Rosslare we embark a ferry that takes us to Pembroke in Wales. Continue to Cardiff for dinner and overnight.
Day 12 – Sep. 23
Today we travel to London. En route we stop in Bath, known for its natural hot springs and 18th-century Georgian architecture. We visit the Roman-era Baths and Pump rooms. Continue to Stonehenge to see a ring of prehistoric standing stones. Next stop is Windsor to visit the Windsor castle, the most impressive royal residence of British monarchs from Henry VIII to Elizabeth II. Dinner and overnight in London.
Day 13 – Sep. 24
Early morning we are transferred to the airport for a flight to Toronto. Afternoon arrival.
